• Provides means of blanking unused cable entries • Temporary or permanent • Tamper-proof (Type B) version available • General purpose / industrial version available • Nylon Ex e only version available (-20°C to +60°C) • -60°C to +200°C (metallic versions) • Globally marked, IECEx, ATEX, cCSAus & UL • For use with threaded entry holes only – for stopper plugs suitable for use in bance/through holes, please see 757 or 767 • Nylon stopper 717 / 717e to be used for sizes M20, M25, M32, 1⁄2″, 3⁄4″ and 1″

Please note: 747 Stopper Plugs have passed IP66 compliance tests to IEC 60529 with no additional sealing. However CMP would recommend the addition of thread sealant or grease (such as Dow Corning No. 4 Silicone) in order to help maintain IP66 and keep water out of the enclosure in the long-term. The addition of thread sealant or grease is permitted as long as it is non-setting, non-metallic and non-combustible in compliance with IEC 60079-14.

For Tamper-Proof Type B Stopper Plugs please substitute the letter A with the letter B in the ordering reference list below.
